Job Description

  • Demonstrate deep and broad product knowledge
  • Write and maintain the revision history of the detailed functional specifications for each feature set throughout the development cycle, using input from business stakeholders, partner organizations, the software development team, and Quality Assurance team
  • Identify the functional definitions of the system, complete with workflow; impacts to existing applications; and navigation
  • Design user interface mockups, visual models, charts, flow diagrams and other specification components
  • Conduct analytical review meetings as required with business stakeholders and domain experts to acquire the details to write functional specifications
  • Facilitates the clarification of functional specification issues as they arise during the development process
  • Ensures accuracy, completeness, and clarity of functional specifications
  • Presents functional specifications to internal stakeholders
  • Works on multiple specifications and/or specifications for complex features
  • In cases where business requirements or scope documents are not provided, gathers business requirements from the appropriate sources
  • Follows the standard development process to make the best use of limited resources (time, money, people) resulting in a stable, maintainable product that meets user requirements
  • Accomplishes all of the above in accordance with standard procedures
  • All other duties as assigned

Job Requirement

  • Must have completed Bachelor's Degree in computer related subjects
  • Having minimum 3 years experience
  • Must have excellent analytical skills and communication skills
  • Proactive and enthusiastic nature
  • Accountability and Responsible nature
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude and strong zeal towards learning
  • Able to work under pressure
